Men Are EVIL

This is not being hostile toward men, it is recognising their primary and collective role in the destruction of the earth, the proliferation of weapons and wars and their lust for power and money at the expense of everything that is right or good or decent. They had their collective chance and in my opinion, they collectively blew it..

Collectively women have priorities that are differently ordered than that of men (collectively) -- we care about our children and their future, education, health, the environment, welfare and justice -- not war and money and power and status.

Collectively, men have primarily been in control of civilisation since its beginning. As a result, humans and far too many other species, are on the verge of extinction. I repeat, they have had their chance and they screwed up big time.

..It is time to embrace a feminist based culture (NOT necessarily run solely by the female sex) that is based on caring, nurturing and developing... not taking and destroying.

The problem is that collectively, if men remain in control, as is highly likely if this list is anything to go by, they are simply incapable of delivering this world. Their inherent nature just gets in the way. That they refuse to accept this and defend their 'masuclinity' to the death, is part of the bigger problem.

..this is every bit as important as..class struggle. In many ways it is more important, as I believe that the future of the world depends solely on a shift in culture from destructive to constructive, male-centric to female-centric, and not on uniting the classes. All _that_ will achieve is a classless but still divided society, where women are still oppressed. It was always so, even under Marxism and the early liberalists.

..It is futile trying to debate tough questions with people who cannot be objective; who cannot discuss controversial issues rationally and without resorting to personal insults; and many who simply cannot engage in the issues at all.

It is patently obvious that this list has also developed a dominant male culture, not surprisingly since it is dominated by men. I hope you all have fun shooting each other down. ^{^}

Perhaps my own recent experience can help to explain my own perspective on the patriarchy and barriers to participation/means of silencing.. I was President of the WA Division of the Australian Democrats .. I lasted seven weeks. In that time I was harassed, vilified privately and publicly, voted no confidence twice (I refused to resign the first time) and officially gagged from speaking on behalf of the party.

Unfortunately it happened to conflict with the future that the party elite, the male power brokers, had for their own future.

What I found out through this experience was that women who are independent and who challenge the way things are done in politics find themselves being excluded and/or assassinated. Various means are used -- from threats, to smear campaigns, to propaganda and rhetoric, to branch stacking, to pre-selection control, to the patriachal operational structure, to stereotyping, to gender-blindness and so-called 'equality' -- all the while the rhetoric is suggestive of an egalitarian and inclusive approach to women's representation.

Design (including WWW design) has become functional, pragmatic and predictably constructed. Is this a function of the masculinisation of design... and/or that men develop the WYSIWYG software..

I should also say that my area of expertise is extreme intellectual giftedness.

I want a world.. where my partner is able to develop his creative talents without being forced to take any job on offer just because work as a comic book creator is very scarce and erratic.

I remember when that was the only way to download porn on the internet. God I'm old. You had to download all these text files and then run a program that combined them and turned them into a tiny pixellated gif of (what were probably) people going at it, secure in the knowledge that although their kinky exhibitionism was going to be downloaded by horny geeks the world over, there was no way anyone was going to be able to identify them.

You had to be imaginative to be a pervert in those days. (Sufficiently imaginative to be able to find excitement in a couple of dozen pink-coloured square pixels.) ^{^}

I'm not sure why Greg's late father, John Sheridan, qualified for such a lengthy obituary in the national newspaper (particularly one bestowing on him the title of "best of a generation"). He wasn't a war hero (never fought). He didn't invent anything. He didn't devote his life to charity. He wasn't well known. He was, by his son's account, a conservative accountant..

The "best of a generation", Greg? Really? You don't think that's a fairly bold claim for the national newspaper to make? ^{^}

Ray Martin.. introduced it with something patronising like "Here's top model Megan Gale, who's really just like you..." And I snarled at him and said something not very nice, and my father thought I was being a horribly bitter and twisted individual who is critical of everything.

Am I? Am I?

Look, I'll stop being snarky, if the people I snark at stop being complete f*cking tools. It's in their stupid git-faced hands. I'll be perfectly civil to the pus-brained fatuous f*cksticks as soon as they mend their ways. ^{^}

Greens Councillor Endangers Children

The Moreland Council had decided to reject the request of the staff of the Shirley Robertson Children's Centre for air-conditioning earlier in the year on "environmental grounds."

Parents have been outraged about their kids being forced to endure temperatures as high as 35 degrees celsius. So hot were conditions in the facility that the younger kids had to be stripped to nappies and underwear to prevent them being so hot that they collapsed.

Only one of the rooms was airconditioned so staff would alternate children in there for some respite and had fifteen kids in the small room at one stage, itself a breach of childcare regulations.

The heartless and cruel local Greens Councillor Andrea Sharam personally blocked the airconditioning request saying "non-energy alternatives" such as shading were more appropriate. "I accept that it's been warm, but traditionally none of us had airconditioning. We can't cope with it all of a sudden when it gets above 35 degrees," the Greens comrade told the local press from airconditioned council offices.

"Commonsense things can be done to make it cooler," she said despite having failed to implement any of them.

A local mum Justine Larkins denounced the Greens councillor "She is forgetting the children in all of this. She's just playing politics."

Fortunately local mayor Tony Helou intervened and on his orders an airconditioner will be installed, hopefully before any of the young kids at Shirley Robertson collapse from heat exhaustion and dehydration.^{^ ^}

a private company cannot engage in deliberate inefficiencies in pursuit of social justice. A public company can deliberately run at a loss, ensuring the cheap provision of services to a countries poor, or the adequate provision of services to areas where it may simply be unprofitable to operate for a private company. A public company can be deliberately inefficient in it’s labour hire policies, hiring more staff than are required .. ^{^}
