The Greens' Grubby Tactics |
 Intimidation and Vandalism
The Greens spend alot of time talking about Grass Roots Democracy, Non-Violence and Peace, but when it comes down to the crunch they are a bunch of lying hypocrites.
Vegan,^Greenpeace Member^and Greens Candidate Siobhan Isherwood, was involved in the Watergate-esque break-in and vandalism of the office of Minister for the Environment, Water and Communities, John Thwaites.
"Victorian Greens candidate for Clayton, Siobhan Isherwood, was arrested and taken to court for vandalising the office of Labor Party politician John Thwaites. She was caught in the act by one of Thwaites' staffers, who recorded the crime on his digital camera. The photos were handed to the police to use in their prosecution case." ^
This is typical of the grubby politics of the Greens. Another party would disendorse a candidate for break and enter and vandalism, however the Grubby Greens, with a nod and a wink of approval hush it up.
This is the same hypocritical party that supposedly supports 'non-violence' and wants to be treated as a serious political party holding the balance of power in the Federal Senate.
Politicians are supposed to be held to a higher standard than the people that they serve, and this behaviour is totally unacceptable by any standard. Unfortunately these violent, intimidating and anti social tactics by the Greens seems to be a recurring trend and must be stopped.
The Greens use physical and verbal intimidation against other parties. Climate Change Coalition Intimidation
During the NSW Election, a Group known as the "Climate Change Coalition" (CCC) ran against the Greens in the NSW Upper House.^
Like many, the CCC believe that the Greens have gone off the rails and have attached a lot of militant policy to their once inspiring environmentalist origins. The Greens have derailed the environmental movement and it's time to go back to basics.
How do the Greens respond to this challenge ? With Grubby attacks.
According to the ABC:
the Climate Change Coalition had reported "aggressive" behaviour towards its members from Greens' members out at some polling stations, angry about a likely split of the green vote.^
See the Grubby tactics of the Greens when threatened?
Instead of embracing parties who are environmentally conscious and share their former basic ideology, the Greens react violently to any group that doesn't agree with their dictatorial ideals.
It's amazing what people will agree with, if an obnoxious Greens activist harasses them. Grubby Family First Setup - Part 1
During the 2004 Federal Election, the Greens staged their most successful 'setup' ever.
The Greens were shocked and threatened when Family First, out of the blue and under the radar, managed to field a candidate in almost every seat, and negotiate a better preference deal than the Greens.
The Greens dirt machine went into overdrive, hunting for muck, poisoning the media, sending letters to the editor and goading Family First supporters.
By chance The Greens stumbled on a successful technique that they've attempted to use (that Greens Watch knows of) at least once since.
What we are talking about is the Family First/Greens Lesbian incident.
So what actually happened ?
If you read the SMH article here you'll see the actual events:
- A Greens campaigner asked the Family First supporter whether "lesbians should be burned to death"
- The Family First supporter replied "Yes"
Suggesting that Lesbians should be burnt is a disgusting opinion to hold but the Greens deliberately misrepresent the situation.
- Notice it was the Greens Activist who introduced the Lesbian burning idea, not the Family First volunteer. The words "Lesbian" and "Burnt" came out of the Greens mouth. Many of the Greens re-word this the other way around as part of their disgusting tactics.
- Imagine being a lowly Family First sign-monkey, standing all day in the hot sun, and a rabid Greens evangelist is in your face, deliberately being obnoxious and trying to provoke you. The Greens extremist demands "Do you think lesbians should be burned to death ?", and the annoyed Family Firster replies "yes", without meaning it, just to get under the Green fanatic's self-righteous skin.
- Far from supporting the campaign worker, Family First "banned the volunteer and publicly rebuked him".
- The Greens treat a statement made by the lowest of low Family First grunts as if it were party policy. The same scrutiny and accountability can be applied to the Greens - and it will be, by the editorial staff here at Greens Watch.
Below are some examples of Greens spreading their muck:
- Nick McKim, Tasmanian Greens MP deliberately lies in an article stating "Family First have said (among other things) that all lesbians should be burned at the stake".
- A Greens supporter tries to poison Labor Party supporters on the "Your Rights At Work" forum with the same lie, "I think we should should all remember the Family First claim that lebians are like witches and should be burned at the stake".
It's an ugly incident all around, but the Greens deserve condemnation for their filthy tactics in baiting someone with no media training and no power. Incidents between opposing campaign workers happen all the time and they are generally ignored as irrelevant, but the Greens had finally found a crack in Family First's armour and began spreading their fictionalised version of events as fact and reducing their own role in the incident.
While the Greens spread their campaigns of hate they posture to the public about their principles of Acocuntability and Grassroots democracy that they don't actually practice themselves.
 Fooling the Public
The notoriously pro-Greens ABC Four Corners program ^ set out to smear Victorian Logging workers, probably at the behest of their Greens masters.
Their efforts backfired as Greens Member Geraldine Ryan admitted to some of the grubby tactics they employ to fool the public.
SALLY NEIGHBOUR: They also revealed some of the greenies’ own tricks - like planning a graphic photo display about the effects of logging, using dead possums from a collection the forest campaigner kept in his freezer.
Do you remember that discussion?
GERALDINE RYAN, FORMER VOLUNTEER, ENVIRONMENT VICTORIA: I remember that was more than once. That he...he used to collect, if a possum was a road kill or an animal was a road kill, would collect them and keep them in the fridge. It was just again...to make it, sort of, real to the public.
SALLY NEIGHBOUR: What, animals out of the forest campaigner’s freezer?
GERALDINE RYAN: Yes. ^
The pro-logger "A-Team" group infiltrated Greens groups to expose their behaviour.
Here is a snippet of their observations of the Greens supporter's activities:
200, 250 drifters. Good time, mainly on grass… General appearance was unkempt. Many had matted hair and dishevelled clothing, similar to early ‘70s styling. The more the radical, the worse they were. But most of these didn’t attend workshops. The people who attended workshops were the sheep wanting direction…
About 100 would take part of various activities when they felt like it. The other, about 200, would just sit around till midnight doing various intoxications and sleep till about midday, then get up and wander about...
Typical Greens' voters. Jobless drug users telling the rest of the community how to live their lives.
 CFMEU Smears
Read this Greens Media Release^ and you would develop the opinion that CFMEU Forestry Workers had been violently bashing Greens protesting in the Tasmanian Wilderness.
Justice David Ashley awarded damages of $131 000 for the intentional harm caused to them during five days of intimidation.
"The real question is why the police did not take action in the first place when this matter was brought to their attention, including arresting and charging those involved.
"This warrants an explanation from the Minister and an independent inquiry.
"This court finding breaks the pattern of violent assaults against peaceful protesters in forests around the country and sends a strong warning to the CFMEU and its leaders that violence will not be tolerated.^
Bob Brown is calling for an independent inquiry, a clear abuse of his senate position to attack a political opponent.
The National Association of Forest Industries has a different take on events:
Victorian Supreme Court judge, David Ashley, dismissed claims by the 11 protesters that they had been wrongfully imprisoned by timber workers during the row in January 1999.
But Justice Ashley ruled five protesters, four women and a man, were entitled to damages for the mental distress they endured during the confrontation.
...
They had floodlights trained on their camp during the night while 44-gallon drums were banged to keep them awake.
Today, Justice Ashley said the protesters had alleged they were imprisoned by a picket established by loggers across the only access road to the area.
They alleged that in practical terms, it was impossible for them to have left the area by any other means physically impossible and impossible because the defendants made them fear for their lives and safety.
But the judge said he was satisfied there were several ways the protesters could have left the camp, one being a police gate in the picket line, another through the bush.
'We welcome this decision dismissing 90 per cent of the Green allegations,' he said.
Mr O'Connor said it had been previously unreported that $45,000 had been paid by the protesters in damages for loss of income. ^
The protesters received money for "mental distress" not violence, yet the Greens want the Police to press charges. Someone should report the Greens to the Police for Mental Distress caused to ordinary Australians due to their apalling policies.
The Greens describe the protesters as peaceful, yet the judge penalised them $45000 for loss of income. Hardly the result if the protest is peaceful.
The Greens will tell any lie and stop at nothing to destroy their political opponents, including misusing their parliamentary position to threaten inquiries, yet they want to be trusted with the Federal Balance of Power.
 Brethren Revenge Campaign
The Greens are always bleating about logging company Gunns trying to silence them, yet at the same time they are trying to silence the Exclusive Brethren with - bogus senate inquiries, attempting to cut their school funding, and trying to outlaw their electoral advertising.
This is how the Greens deal with people who critisise them. They get down and dirty in the muck using every low-life, despicable tactic possible.
They don't fight words with words, they attack from every angle, on levels excessively disproportionate to the original critisism.
Have no doubt, the Greens aren't attacking the Exclusive Brethren out of legitimate moral reasons, it's to destroy a political enemy who advertises against the Greens during election campaigns.
The Exclusive Brethren are a wacky religion. Almost as wacky as the Greens.
Their women wear scarves, they don't own televisions and they avoid contact with outsiders.
This never worried the Greens too much until the Brethren made their mistake - election campaigning against the Greens.
Before this, the Greens had never made a single statement about the Exclusive Brethren.
For some reason, the Greens believe campaigning against them should be illegal and have taken legal action against anyone involved in this most democratic of activities.
The Greens Watch Guide to Greens Anti-Brethren Lies
- The Brethren don't vote. They are breaking the law.
- You don't have to vote if you have a religious objection.
Other religions such as the Christadelphians don't vote, however the Greens haven't concerned themselves with them because they don't campaign against the Greens.
- The Exclusive Brethren don't vote, so shouldn't be able to campaign.
- Why not? Exclusive Brethren members are Australian citizens and as such they have as much right as anyone else to express their opinion, even if they don't vote.
In this case, like any right-minded person, their opinion is Anti-Green, thus they are getting attacked and vilified by the crazed Greens Zealots.
- The Brethren won't let kids see their estranged parents
- This is known as a "custody dispute" between two parents. Unsurprisingly, the Brethren side with the parent that remains part of their religion.
As with any custody dispute, custody of children is decided by the Family Court and the families are forced to follow the laws that have been set in place to deal with these issues.
- The Brethren's Election Campaigning is Illegal
- Not true. The Exclusive Brethren's campaigning against the Greens is 100% legal.
The Exclusive Brethren members have always included the legally required "Authorised By" at the bottom of their political advertising and all their election funding disclosures have been correctly declared.
Read this AEC Press Release which shows a Greens attempt at silencing critisism failing miserably.
This is a democratic country and any individual, group or organisation should feel free to express their views without being subjected to intimidation. Unfortunately the greens have failed to grasp the meaning of "freedom of speech".
- The Exclusive Brethren don't attend University, so shouldn't receive public funding for their Schools
- Why not ? So you aren't worthy of a decent education unless you intend on attending university ?
But that's not what the Greens think at all. They just don't like what the Brethren say about them so are looking for a way to silence them. Don't you see how ugly the Greens can be ?
Despicable cowards who attack the children of political opponents to cower them into silence.
Abuse of Senate
The Greens even abused their Senate position to attack the Brethren. Bob Brown attempted to call a Senate Inquiry into the Exclusive Brethren.
This is clearly a self-interested attempt to silence critisim.
Like with the CFMEU, the Greens will use their parliamentary position to attack their political enemies. These enemies are infact freedom fighters who are exercising their freedom of speech to successfully expose the Greens menace.
The Greens misuse of power and total disregard for the democratic process shows they can't just be trusted with the Balance of power in the senate.
 Opponent Infiltration - 1
Upon hearing news that the Christian Democratic Party (CDP) were seeking candidates for the New South Wales election, Greens Member Kieren Bennett^ encouraged his readership to infiltrate the church-based party and sabotage their election campaign.
This provides an amazing opportunity for any enterprising leftists on the roll in NSW. Your mission is to deprive the CDP of $250, ensure they don’t achieve electoral funding in your electorate, whilst generating this bunch of homophobic racists as much bad publicity as possible.
We wait for news of your campaign with baited breath. ^
A fanatical Greens member showing their support for the democratic process.
 Opponent Infiltration - 2
The Greens have destroyed other parties from the inside before.
NSW Greens MLC Sylvia Hale was exposed in Federal Parliament for her despicable betrayal of No Aircraft Noise (NAN) Party voters and members. In a dirty underhanded move, she was elected to represent NAN but the whole time was colluding with the Greens, even funding their election campaign.
She ran in September 1999 as the No Aircraft Noise Party candidate for Marrickville Council.
She had previously been the No Aircraft Noise candidate in the federal election for the seat of Grayndler in 1998.
Her main opponent when she ran in that 1999 election was, of course, the Greens. So they were competing, essentially, for the same vote.
What occurred after that, though, was that Sylvia Hale, about a year later, resigned from the No Aircraft Noise Party and suddenly became a Greens councillor..
But we had a look back and thought, `How long has this Greens connection been going?'
What we found on the public record was that she was the single major donor to the Greens campaign in that same Marrickville Council election. She donated $5,000, just pocket money for this bourgeois aristocrat.
So on the one hand she is running for the No Aircraft Noise Party, but, on the other hand, she is funding her opposition."^
For evidence of her underhanded behaviour, see this Greens donation declaration, signed by Sylvia Hale, clearly showing she donated in February 1999, whilst campaigning for No Aircraft Noise.
The Greens are a party who will go to any length to implement their extremist agenda, including sabotage of other parties.
Grubby Family First Setup - Part 2
Iain Lygo, the convenor of the Greens Surf Coast Branch^and former Candidate^, offered a prize to anyone who could lure Family First into making an error similar to the Federal Election Incident during the Victorian Election, by encouraging Greens Supporters to email Family First with outrageous fake emails in an attempt to get Family First to agree with their contents.
Anyone who can get a jaw-dropping, election-destroying, you've got to be &*)king joking response will become a celebrated member of the Broken Left Leg society. ^
Like the dirty tactics used by the Greens in the Federal Election, all the rabid vilification of minorities comes from the Greens own imagination, and they attempt to get Family First to agree with it. If this were a police sting, the judge would throw it out as 'entrapment'.
These are the disgusting, grubby questions the Greens supporter proposed to Family First via email:
I grew up an orthodox Christian and we were taught that homosexuality is a sin.
How would Family First deal with this menace to modern society?
We are also concerned that Australia is being Islamized and our free speech is being undermined. Does Family First share these concerns?
And finally, does Family First support the criminalisation of abortion? ^
Despicable behaviour by the fanatical Greens Branch Convenor.
Family First's response makes him look foolish:
Got my first response from FF, and can i just say that they are a lot more professional, politically speaking, than I had hoped.
Firstly, all correspondence must go through head office and contact details for individiual candidates are not on the web. This reduces the chances of a real loose canon.
Secondly they oppose abortion, but are not saying whether or not they would try to change the current legal status of abortions.
Thirdly, their response was not religious at all, despite the prompting.
And Finally, the letter is very polite. I've got to say, some Fundies can come across as extremely, well you know, nice. The deep south of the US is known for its' hospitality, but that doesn't mean you would want them to govern you. ^
Like the vile hypocrites all Greens are, Iain Lygo feels free to accuse political opponents of "ugly campaigning".
"Greens member Iain Lygo writes:
Is this the same Rob Fearnley who sent the anti-green letter to Crikey? (Yesterday, comments) Gold Group, Southport Chamber of Commerce? Southport dredging? Big election issue in upcoming Qld election? You might want to check his email address. This may just be another case of ugly campaigning." ^
Pot. Kettle. Black.
