Ban Vegemite

Wacko Greens MLC Ian Cohen (who is accused of beating women) called for Vegemite to be taken off the shelves because it might contain Genetically Modified (GM) ingredients. ^{^}

According to the CSIRO "There has not so far been a single report of any GM food causing adverse health effects in humans"^{^}. Despite this, the Greens ran a scare campaign against Vegemite without any scientific basis.

Observe Ian Cohen's Green Hysterics:

"Parents spread it on their children's sandwiches everyday. The very wellbeing of Australia's children may be at stake," he said. ^{^}

The CSIRO says:

GM foods are required to undergo a safety assessment by Food Standards Australia New Zealand before they can be sold in Australia and New Zealand. The assessments rigorously examine the allergenicity, toxicity and nutritional value of GM foods to determine whether they are different from conventionally produced food. To date, all GM foods submitted for assessment have been found to have all the benefits of conventionally produced foods and no additional risks. ^{^}

However when it comes to GM Food, they don't want to know about the CSIRO because it doesn't suit their anti-capitalist agenda.

Vegemite is a classic aussie icon that's healthy for kids, and for the Greens to target it with their voodoo-science is despicable. They should target something that actually hurts people, like suicide or alcoholism.

Chavez is a Communist Strongman with rule-by-decree powers who shuts Television stations that criticise him.

This is the sort of person supported by the Greens.

It should be mentioned that NSW Senator Kerry Nettle, who rightly campaigns for West Papuan freedom and justice supports a dictatorial regime in Venezuela because it shares her socialist values.

The Greens approve of this behaviour as it matches their own opinion of how Greens' critics should be dealt with.

Chavez screams communist slogans to a crowd whilst wearing a funny hat.	Chavez meets Libyan Dictator Colonel Ghadaffi, who is most famous for his terrorist activities.

Chavez imagines shooting people who disagree with him.	Chavez surveys his goons (aka the army), who intimidate opposition campaign workers and raid television stations that say anything negative about Chavez.

Chavez meets Communist Dictator of Cuba Fidel Castro, who regularly executes democracy activists.	Chavez meets President Assad of Syria, who runs a Police State where political opponents are executed, Hezbollah and Hamas terrorists are trained and forces regularly occupy parts of neighbouring Lebanon.

No wonder the Greens support him - this is how they would like Australia to be run.

The Greens Mega-Bikeway will be a useless White Elephant.

The World's Longest Bikeway

A BIKEWAY linking Cairns to Coolangatta would get the nod ahead of road construction under a transport plan launched by The Greens yesterday.
Funding for the bikeway, as well as walkways and public transport, would be increased at the expense of roads under the plan.^{^}

The Greens are proposing a 1800km Bikeway through some incredibly isolated areas. Hundreds of kilometres that are totally unoccupied. The cost and environmental devastation would be immense.

A bikeway that is longer than the Bruce Highway - Queensland's number one traffic carrier.

This is a massive one lane highway that would require bridges, land clearing, maintenance and levelling to be constructed. The cost would be astronomical but in usual Greens style, their crackpot idea is funded by cutting funding to roads. Roads are real infrastructure that helps people.

How many people would use it ? Compare the massive number of people who use roads compared to the very few who use bikepaths. The whole idea has no basis in reality.

This was obviously concocted by some Greens fools during a "Greens Brainstorming Session" (Yes, Greens Brainstorming is an Oxymoron).

Remember these guys received nearly a million votes at the federal election. They have Senators who decide laws that we live by, yet this is the best they can come up with ?

The Wacky Greens are Dangerous.

Cardboard boxes are for storing old junk. The Greens think they should also be used for storing deceased loved ones.

Ratbag Greens MP Deb Foskey is most famous for staying in public housing whilst earning a six figure salary. She selfishly ignores the homeless on Canberra's streets who have no place to live.^{^}

Cardboard boxes are for storing old junk, however nutcase MP Deb Doskey is lobbying for their use for storing deceased loved ones.^{^}

So not only will the Greens take all of the money when your parents die in the form of Death Tax, but they'll force them to be buried in cardboard boxes.

A New Gender

The nutcases at Greens HQ have been working overtime to find stupid policies to champion.

Their latest one is the introduction of a new gender called "Intersex". Most people have never heard of Intersex, but it is essentially a hermaphrodite.

And what do they want to do with this new Gender ?
